I know that among you are the most talented, informed group of ti99 users in the world. My question is this: Can someone (or some group of people) give me (or point me to) the definitive list of requirements for (1) a monitor (color and monochrome), and (2) disk drives, and (3) disk controlers compatibility with the ti99. Lists of actual equipment would be helpful, but I would like information like,"you can use any monitor with a composite video in, and a scan rate of..." For disk controllers, I am looking for information on how good the third party controllers are, the availability of used/new ti controllers. Any and all information would be appreciated. By the way, I already know about Tenex, and would like info on how good other sources are. Finally, does anyone know how to determine how fast the UART on the TI RS232 card can be driven. It is a TI 9902 chip, and I already have a data sheet, I just need to know from that how to determine the maximum possible speed. Thankyou, Bob Switzer (ps Gene, it looks like I'm finally going to get to my project)
