In my article I stated that magpies are not dammaging to farms. I was informed by one net user that that is not the case. He told me that when he was young he was paid $1 per pair for magpie feet by his grandpa because the magpies destroyed fruit. Where I was raised, there was no fruit growing. The only thing magpies ate was dead animals so we generally did not shoot them. My mistake. John Blankenagel
