I just read in the human interest section of the local newspaper that an
investigation into Opus' and Cutter's disappearance will get rolling in
about 3 weeks.  Apparently, Berke Breathed has received a lot of phone
calls from fans who want Opus back in the daily strip.  It was suggested
(by someone other than Breathed) that Opus landed on an island and found
the mother he's been looking for all this time.  Any guesses, anyone?
