The following is reprinted without permission from the the New York Daily News: **************************************************************************** The new Coke is sweeter than the "classic", but the Coca-Cola company went sour when it fired Amanda Blake, an employee at its bottling plant in Northampton, Mass., because her co-worker-fiance quit and signed up with arch rival Pepsi-Cola. She has filed a $600,000 lawsuit against Coke, and it's a good case. Coke and Pepsi *are* at war in the soda pop business, but it's all wrong to draw these kinds of battle lines.
