According to 1-800-GET-COKE, local bottlers have been permitted to substitute corn syrup for sugar in COKE since 1980. When Classic Coke was marketed, it finally gave them a chance to correct (or "redefine") the ingredients label. So nothing has changed. If your old coke tastes different, chalk it up to degridation in your cans or plastic bottles. As soon as I can get a bottle (glass!) of "Classic" coke, I will compare it to "Old" coke, and I expect it to be the same.
