I liked the book OK (though I thought it was far too longwinded), but for some reason the movie ads didn't appeal to me. My guess is, it disappeared down a hole and vanished from sight. By the way (speaking of falling down holes), how many people actually saw DUNE? I did, with high hopes; exited nauseated. The old Baron and Sting in his metal jockstrap were too much for me. (Did you get the idea, in the scene where the old Baron rapes the boy, that he did it in the heart? I did. BARF!) Even though (God knows) I'll never forget it, I'd NEVER see it again.
