Perhaps the director/writers felt that Kathleen Turner has been typecast as a ruthless killer from the Matty Walker character in "Body Heat." The same last name links the two roles. Irene's character potentially was the most interesting because there aren't many women assassins portrayed in the movies. Because her character isn't fully developed, her actions seemed random. -- Jeff Wu
