Due to the request, I will post the responses that I have received to 
my question of a few days back. The Star Wars movie was originally called
_A New Hope_ and was the fourth of nine chapters in the Star Wars saga
as written by George Lucas. The fifth and sixth chapters were subsequently
released as films (_The Empire Strikes Back_ and _Return of the Jedi_) but
none of the other stories have yet seen release neither in print nor on
celluloid. Too bad. Many thanks to all those who took time out to respond.
