Later this week, I procure the recent summer catalog from his company. I was impressed by the selection and prices as well as a small blurb describing the circumstances behind each release. It also included the news that a Muffins/Fred Frith albumn is soon to be released. It will be called OPEN CITY and include 6 unreleased Muffins tunes + 2 pieces recorded for GRAVITY. Here's some samplers from the catalog that caught my eye: Cool & the Clones ( DC funk/thrash band ) - $6.00 Robyn Hitchkok -BLACK SNAKE DIAMOND ROSE (UK) - first releases - $4.50 (!) Early Dylan rarities (ITALIAN) - $5.00 ea. No Trend/ Lydia Lunch - A DOZEN RED ROSES - $6.00 The Residents - $5.00 Iggy Pop - ZOMBIE BIRDHOUSE & NO FUN - $4.00 This is just a sample of about a hundred different releases. And this is just the Summer Catalog ( 4 a year ). He also has an annual green catalog of stock items claiming hundreds of selections. I haven't seen anything yet so can't confirm this. But really!
