It was originally released as a double LP, but now I have only seen it as two separate single LPs, with "Sister Feelings Call" being the other disc. If you like instrumentals, there exist several on "Sister Feelings Call"; there are none on "Sons and Fascinations". Another good LP is "Celebration", a compilation of works in the 79-81 time frame. Here their style is slightly different (perhaps a bit harsher). It contains songs from the "Life in a Day" and "Reel to Reel Canopy" (sp?) LPs, plus other cuts. I prefer this compilation over the separate LPs, as the earlier LPs did not seem to have the consistency that the later LPs did. Although each album has differences in style (I think "New Gold Dream" and "Sparkle in the Rain" are quite different), there is no huge change in style in the band from their earlier releases, despite personal changes. I especially recommend "Sons and Fascinations". Mark Bryant AT&T Information Systems, Denver (ihnp4!druxq!markb)
