One of my all time favorite plagarisms is The High Numbers (i.e. The Who's)
first single, ``I'm the Face''.  The songwriting credit says Pete Meaden--
who was managing them at the time, and actually wrote the lyrics.  The tune
however is just about note for note Slim Harpo's ``Got Love If You Want It.''
Note for fucking note.
