a few month ago i posted a note about some deadheads who repair sony
equipment, and i was wondering if anyone had ever used them. well - i
did not get any replies, so we sent a couple of d5's off to these folks
to see how they did. 
well - it was incredible. they tweaked both decks, fixed one and returned
them to us in record time (about a week). one deck even got fixed under
warranty (they are a Sony authorized factory service center). if you 
ever need your deck fixed - send it here. they will bias it for the type
of tape you like too. the repair service was very inexpensive.

they sell tapes too tho i've not used this service. i am not getting 
favors, paid or anything  else to post this - i think they do excellent 
work and it is fast.
