I am thinking of purchasing these two items (along with a Portastudio) in the hope of being able to interface the synth with the sequencer in order to create a sort of digital psuedo-studio atmosphere. I'd appreciate any input from existing users. Another option is to utilise a Korg (the one that retails for about $900, I forgot the name - I think the number "800" is in the title somewhere) as opposed to a Yamaha, 'cause of the excessive cost of the DX-7. Forgive me if I don't have the model numbers right - now that I think of it, maybe it's the MSQ-800 sequencer... thanks -- "And from these endless days Shall come a broader sympathy" --Rob Rosen ucbvax!rosen
