Out here in California you can receive the Far East Service of BBC, Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu programs in the 41 and 49 meter bands. I have been able to receive them with a Kenwood R-11 receiver. I know of another friend in the San Jose area who has also been able to receive these broadcasts. If anybody needs more information on the exact frequencies please let me know. Surendra Lele
