  In reply, ferrets CAN NOT catch rabies from killed vaccine which is 
exactly what it sounds like.  What do you do if you animal accidently gets
out or something with rabies gets in?  Besides, from the simple aspect
of permits you'll notice that innoculations tend to be required.
