Towards GUTs: the electro-weak and strong forces joined in mathematics.

Has anyone out there done any matrix manipulation concerning rotations
in Isospin-space of up, down, and strange hadrons of any type?  That is, any
hadron with at least one up, down, or strange constituent quark.  Espescially
as to how charm is required to account for muon-nuetrino + electron to
muon-nuetrino + electron reactions.  Any and all information would be
greatly appreciated.
Also anyone doing any work with Quantum chromodynamics using quantum electro-
dynamics as a basis in a special-unitary group in any dimesion--SU(n)--
please tell me what your current problems are.  (I refer to 'basis' in the
mathematical sense.)
