I used the book "Lying with Statistics" in a high school statistics
course in 1979, and those were new books that the teacher gave us, so it should
still be in print.  And it is an excellent statistics text, as it deals with 
valid statistical methods as well as means of manipulation.  I would 
reccommend it for anyone taking statistics or even randomly interested.
