Gentlemen:  Please!

Note that this is net.politics, not net.flame.  On behalf of our other
readers, I beg you to moderate your tone, stick to informative
messages free of personal invective and partisan hobbyhorses, and
accord each other the respect and attention for which this newsgroup
is justly noted.  What would happen if we all started calling each
other names?

I'm not sure about Mr. Forsythe (perhaps an invented name, as in the
saga), but Messrs. Arndt and Black have long been known for their
magnificent diction and reasonable discussion.  Please, can't we
return to the decorum that characterized our interactions just a week
or two ago?
