There are three family associations/publications that may prove helpful.
"Bell Chimes", published twelve times a year by Bell Enterprises, PO Box 451,
Springfield, VT 05156, Irving Bell, Editor.  Subscriptions are $11.50 per
year. The "Bell Family Association", 100 Andrew Street, Springdale, AR 72764.
Published periodically, queries accepted.  And finally, "The Three Bells",
Mrs. Molly Reigard, 1321 Gum Tree, Huffman TX 77336.  Published quarterly at
$10 per year.  SPelling variations, Beall, Beale, Beal, etc.
   You will also find people asking for help with the Bell surname in the
queries from the New York Biographical and Genealogical Society (July 1985),
National Genealogical Society (May 1985), and Ohio Genealogical Society 
(February 1985).  Those are specifically Bell queries.  A Beale query appears
in the New England Historical and Genealogical Society "NEXUS" for October
1984.  Beal - Ohio Genealogical Society MAy 1985, Beall - National Genealogical
Society May 1985.  A Beals surname query appears in the query list from the
ROOTS-BBS.
   ROOTS-BBS at (415)-584-0697 is a bulletin board specializing in genealogy
and has public domain genealogical software, research tips, messages, and a
research database that you can scan online.  No fee for this service.  You
