Gray was indeed Blofeld in DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.  He was also in YOU
ONLY LIVE TWICE as a friendly agent who is knifed in the back through a
paper Japanese wall.  Other film credits for him were as the villian,
Mocata in the 1968 THE DEVIL RIDES OUT (aka THE DEVIL'S BRIDE).  He has
played Mycroft Holmes, I think it was in THE SEVEN PERCENT SOLUTION.
