The Martian government, alarmed by the rapid and seemingly psychotic technological development of the ape-primitives on Earth, forbid said monkeys, on pain of planet-wide nuking, to do any kind of space flight development. The name of the story was LOOPHOLE. Nuff said. The Theory of Special Relativity is inarguably correct. But it's not necessarily the end of the argument.
