Has anyone else noticed this or am I just imaging it? Larry Niven tends to have a great age mismatch between his lovers, also. For instance, in Ringworld we have Teela Brown and Louis Wu. And who can forget the lady with the horrible long name that Louis finally gets? (I'm not at home, so can't look it up.) There are other examples, also.
