"Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft" was recorded by the Carpenters.

The song was taken up by some orginization (World Peace?) as their "anthem"
and as such the track was "beamed" into outer-space as a goodwill message to
any aliens that may be listening. As far as I know, the song is still being
"beamed" into outer-space.

I only hope any aliens who hear it like Karen Carpenters voice, otherwise we
could be in for trouble :-)
