Lines: 20 From: Will Duquette The connection between Michael Moorcock and Hawkwind has been mentioned quite often in the last few weeks, up to who commented that Moorcock had written a book about the band entitled _Time of the Hawklords_. I do believe that Moorcock actually "created" the band in his books about Jerry Cornelius, the elusive, needlegun-toting anti-hero who is *** SLIGHT SPOILER *** actually a punk kid from London. In _The Condition of Muzak_, at any rate, and perhaps even in _The English Assassin_, Jerry is a member of the bank Hawkwind. So far as I know, the *real* band got their inspiration from this. Anybody know for sure? Will Duquette "Whatever you got, there you have it"
