What is our society coming to, anyway?  What has become of civilization?
Every civilized person knows "coffee" means "come in and let's talk awhile,"
whereas reference to alcoholic beverages implies what you are suggesting.
Thus there was nothing of the sort you suggested implied at all, since
the phrase she used implies just what you say she wants.
