I apologize for the vagueness. You are all right. The author of the book included all of the following attributes when s/he coined the term: age, financial status, professional status, intelligence, and probably a few others that I'm forgetting. I appreciate that you didn't flame me personally, Dave. The book does make the point that one of "the things [we] can do about it" is to lower our standards.
