Message-ID: <406@mit-vax.UUCP> Date: Thu, 18-Jul-85 12:07:54 EDT Article-I.D.: mit-vax.406 Posted: Thu Jul 18 12:07:54 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 20-Jul-85 15:27:56 EDT Organization: MIT, Cambridge, MA Lines: 20 Hugs, hug parties, propriety of hugs, relationship between hugs and dirty deeds, asking before giving hugs, gaaa. In my long and spectacularly boring life, hugs are a reward, sometimes for things you're born (being her nephew), sometimes for where you are (next to him when good news arrives), but more often and more consistently for what you do: Share activities, whether work or play. Put in a good deed, whether saving someone's life or merely coming up with the correct, straight-man response at the point of the joke. Live a life that includes good times with others, and you don't need to manufacture reasons. -- Oded Feingold {decvax, harvard}!mitvax!oaf MIT AI Lab oaf%oz@mit-mc.ARPA 545 Tech Sq. 617-253-8598 work Cambridge, Mass. 02139 617-371-1796 home
