In the last couple of weeks you may have noticed that I have entered a large volume of responses in this forum. The current topic which I raised (SOship, frienship, hugging, etc.) is a worthwhile topic for which I have gotten many positive messages from others. However, my last few responses I have come to realize were nothing more then my whining about my past problems (a tendency I hate in both others and in myself) and that most of what was said could have been said just as well (if not better) by e-mail. So, to alleviate this problem and to keep myself from dominating the newsgroup, I am voluntarilly cutting back on my responses. This does not mean that I won't post to the newsgroup. It just means that I will avoid making to much commentary and wasting everybodies time with a lot of whining. Most of my writing from now on will be in messages to posters. If I think a response is worthwhile enough for the entire newsgroup to see, then I will post it. The current discussion has brought up a lot of feelings inside of me, some good some bad. I would like to see it continue because I do truly believe that is a serious shortage of physical affection in this world (of the non-sexual variety). Here's hoping for a happy future, Life, Love, Laughter, and Hope, Chris Andersen -- tektronix!azure!chrisa
