The two of us eventually started to have the fun that others suspected us of having. This was fine. We eventually decided that things weren't quite right, so we cut it out. This is also fine. We remained friends, although with the slight discomfort that follows. This is also fine. We had to continue to work together: boing! This ain't so fine. Work continually threw us together in a variety of uncomfortable situations... ...advice? Oh, none really. As someone already pointed out, there should be no hard and fast rules for something like "dating from the office;" each incident should be a judgement call. My only word of caution is: if it don't work, be prepared for the consequences.... ...this has been a paid political announcement.... -- --- Rob DeMillo Madison Academic Computer Center ...seismo!uwvax!uwmacc!demillo / =|-- = \ = [][][] "...I don't know what this thing does, but it's pointing in your direction."
