Gregg, let's say "it depends" on this one, too.  Whether a woman's reputation
is hurt (or helped) when her love life hits the office grapevine depends on
the quality of the man involved.  This is also true of a man's reputation.

Besides, the grapevine creates a ready-made audience that absolutely forces 
her to do all that unseemly bragging, which she'd never *dream* of doing
otherwise.  (But men wouldn't know anything about that, would they? :-)
