In reading through some of it, I have seen interesting ideas and maybe even a basis for an appealing personal religeon, but not much scientific substantiation. One of the books I read (by Jung or a follower named Edinger, I forget which) suggests the interesting notion that the cause of some love affairs is that the man's anima and the woman's animus are in love with each other.
