After a year and a half on the job we're still friends and have a good working relationship. I still play AD&D in her husband's dungeon every Sunday, which is how we met. My last job was for a small (~150 employees total, ~30 in the home office) software house. Everybody there was on a first name basis from the president of the company on down to the entry-level junior programmers. We often went out to lunch together, played racket ball together, went bar hopping together, etc. I have fond memories of the place as one of the best work environments I've ever been in. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ The Polymath (aka: Jerry Hollombe) Citicorp TTI Common Sense is what tells you that a ten 3100 Ocean Park Blvd. pound weight falls ten times as fast as a Santa Monica, CA 90405 one pound weight.
