Ok. Lets say I go out to our ficticious dance hall, with my full Joe Studd emotional armor in place. I say, "Hey baby, spit or swallow?" (all the while keeping in mind that she is merely a sex object :-) ) and she goes for it. Now its the next morning, or a week later, (or whenever) and I really want to tell her about my passion for Japanese Flower Arrangement. How do you drop the Joe Studd act and become a Real Person? I have tried the Joe Studd act a few times, and it seems to work fairly well, but the problem I find is that the woman is not interested in *ME*, but rather in Joe Studd, that ficticious person who brings women to a screaming frenzy with his mere glance. Lets face it: Joe Studd doesn't care about the woman, as indicated, he is after the proverbial One Thing. When you are trying to find someone interested in yourself, being sombody else doesn't help.
