Her arguement went something like this: Most men will tell you they prefer that a woman not wear make-up or *very* fashionable clothing, but let a well-made-up woman in a slinky dress walk into the room, and guess who they all stare at. It's not the down-to-earth one with no make- up on. Does that ring true? It did with me. I decided my words and behavior didn't jive, so I changed the words. I like to look at a woman who has taken the time and effort to look really good. I appreciate it even more when she's with me. Sometimes I even try to look my best for some person or occasion.
