What's wrong with trying to look good so that others will like you?  It
shouldn't be necessary, but it supports what a lot of people on this net
said a while back about initial attractions being physical.  And if you
do try to look good for (to?) other people, does that mean that you don't
like yourself?

I'm not disagreeing with Chris, just trying to dispel the notions some
folks have against those that care about their looks.
