Not strictly unique, just unusual in the way it works. The name for this kind of thing is manage a trois. The bizarre part is that she has children, and she's probably doing them a disservice for not being there half the time. (Depends on their age, though) This reminds of a funny situation on our floor in residence this term. There are a couple of girls (they're friends) on our floor who seem to have about 5 guys floating around in some sort of pseudo-erotic haze. We (the rest of the people on the floor) look upon this situation with some disdain and a lot of hilarity. The '3" wonders' are a cause of more than a little salacious humor. What amazes most of us is how these two girls can keep these fellows so enthralled. Neither of them are particularly desirable to our way of thinking. In fact, the one who brags the most about such things is an obnoxious whale. Desperation is a terrible thing, I guess.
