Yes, Ralph has a terrible problem with names.  Even though he messes
up by verbally (and unconsciously) engaging in free association, his
head is always in the game at hand, and he does possess and relate
cogently an understanding of the strategy and tactics of baseball.
Ralph will therefore often sound silly, but he'll never sound stupid.
