If the author is representative, no wonder the Pirates can't draw.
"Sorry, but you haven't won a WS since 1979, and haven't been in
contention since 1983, so I guess it's time to defect".  It isn't
clear whether the author transferred or diluted loyalties, but, either
way, to someone like me, who has rooted for the same team (the Mets)
since I was under seven (in 1966), this seems an almost mercenary
attitude.
