I may be off on this, but I'm pretty sure I had to suffer with
my beloved Tigers in 1976 when they lost 19 straight to set the
Major League Record.  Unlike Baltimore or LA fans, Tiger fans
have to endure horrid seasons (I think we lost 100 that year,
or maybe the year after) between periods of success.
