Here on the left coast, (or at least in Oregon), the games are broadcast at 8:00 pm. For games like the Mets-Expos, common sense says that the game must be taped. Of course, the Mets have shown a history of *late* games :-) What bugs me is the fact that West coast games, like one they showed at Oakland, are also taped. At least I assume so, since I know it can't be light in Oakland when it's dark in Portland. Speaking of Howard, has anyone else noticed that he seems to be showing his age? Not just in the commentary that is straight out of the 30's and 40's. A few weeks ago, he interviewed Lasorda about Steve Howe, and I thought I saw quite a palsy shake in his hands. Also, he seems to be getting quite rude to Al and Jim - down to the nasty remarks he makes about Palmer's pitching. Bob May hplabs!hp-pcd!bobm
