Not only did Spock and Kirk drive a car in "A Piece of the Action"
but they were passangers in the car going to John Gill's place for
a press conference in "Patterns of Force".

A new question might be: who in the Star Trek saga was ever killed   
by a car or land craft?  (easy enough for Frith)
