Down here in Maryland they love to chop up Star Trek. In the last five years I have yet to see "Court Martial" show the complete speech by Samuel T. Cogley about the rights of humans vs. machines. Half the time they cut out the part where Kirk tells us with voice over that Sam left the ship to have Jamie beamed up. And some times they even cut out the meeting between Kirk and Arleen Shaw (?) and later McCoy in the bar on Star Base whatever. Another nice one they pick on is Tribbles. They seem to like to cut out fifteen seconds here, fifteen seconds there, but it all adds up. Shows in syndication are always cut to get in more commercials.
