Subject: Simmalarities between ST & other SF shows

I turned on the tube the other day and saw for the second time
"Forbiden Plannet" which came out cerca 1954.   Though I don't 
remember the actors names I did see a major simalaritie between ST 
charactor stucture and comand proceedure.   

The FP ship had a mechanizum similar to the transproter yet it was 
used to suspend the crew while the ship slowed to sublight speeds.
(this bings up another ? Y dosn't the crew of the E  get plastered 
agenst the hull of the ship when they are doing the same? )

And when the FP crew disembarked it was the Capt.,Ships DR. & Sienor
Oficer that went to meet the only inhabitants left on the Plannet -
a parinoid Prof. and his daughter ( definate #10 ).

( CONECTIONS )
The plot of FP was similar to ST episodes:

"Demon of the Dark " ?not sure of exact titles = were the E goes to 
 a mining outpost to liberate it from the Horta.

"? "  =  were the E searching for Ritalen to stop a pleage onboard ship
an run into a 1000 year old man and his Android daughter(wife).  And also
a robot to defend his home.   In FP it was the fammous Robby the Robot.

 ? " = the cartoon ST comes across a mega old ship made by insect creaturs.
