The first pilot was "The Cage", and as the original poster's friend suggests, it was about Pike's encounter with the Talosians. It was never shown in its original form, but was re-edited and augmented into "The Menagerie". From what's been said here and there, no more prints of "The Cage" exist in its original form. The second pilot has been shown many, many times, and it still exists --- "Where No Man Has Gone Before". 12345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890 --- jayembee (Jerry Boyajian, DEC, Acton-Nagog, MA) UUCP: {decvax|ihnp4|allegra|ucbvax|...}!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-akov68!boyajian ARPA: boyajian%akov68.DEC@DECWRL.ARPA
