Gore Actually, in one or two of those episodes ("Catspaw" and "Who Mourns for Adonais" come to mind), Koenig *was* wearing a wig (this from a recent rereading of "The World of Star Trek" by David Gerrold). He only wore it until his hair grew out a bit, but wear it he did. I recall reading that he felt a little silly doing so, but he gave in to the general feeling that it would indeed attract "the younger crowd."
