Line-eater, line-eater, can't get me...

A while ago I posted a program which proported to compile Nroff
driver tables. Ian Darwin very quickly informed me that it didn't
work too well. The problem turned out to do with zero-width
characters. I fixed the problem to the apparent satisfaction of
this HP-9000, but hesitated to release the update as I was not
confident that it was portable. However, I have received some
inquiries, so I have posted it to net.sources. The posting also
contains a program which produces the source code from existing
tables.
