On leaving the U.S. there where Isreali security people checking your passports and asking questions like; why are you traveling to Isreal?... Did anyone ask you to take something with you..Did you pack your own bags?..ect. and every piece of luggage was ex-rayed. Up on leaving Israel I got the same treatment. Does it work... well as I understand it there has'nt been a hijacking of an Isreali airline in a number of years.
