I agree that the restaurant at the Domain Chandon (I'm not sure of the spelling) Champagnery is excellent! However you do not have to spend $80 a couple (at least not a few years ago) to have a sumptious feast. Also take in the redwoods (Muir Woods is an example), Chinatown (of course), Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park, and up the coast to Point Reyes National Seashore.
