I'm taking about 6 days to get from Salzburg to Frankfurt, during which time I would like to spend *some* time in Salzburg, Garmisch, Rothenburg, and Heidelburg. (I know, not long enough!) Any suggestions out there as to where I should linger? Something I can put up with missing entirely? Places I'm ignoring that I *absolutely* shouldn't? I will have a car, so I can be very flexible. (Maybe I should tell you also that I'm 27, single, travelling alone, and while I appreciate culture and scenic beauty, I really want to have FUN...e.g. I hear Heidelburg's got a whole section of town full of bars that go absolutely WILD!) Any responses I get will be greatly appreciated. Respond via email or follow-up posting to the net; either way makes no difference to me, and either way I'll let you know how things go! (I don't leave til 9/21 though.) Thanks in advance... -- Joe Hawkins Pacific Bell, San Francisco ptsfa!joh (415) 545-8454 "the faster we go, the rounder we get..."
