It's in the Fulton chain of lakes, on a peninsula between 7th and 8th lakes, and far enough up to get rid of most of the RV-ers. The nearest town is Inlet - also a gas, everything is owned by the same family, and there's a great bookstore. The Fulton chain of lakes is an excellent canoe trip for those of you into that -- few portages, spectacular scenery, and well-spaced state parks for water, campsites, etc. For backpacking, the area around Mt.
